“Total Renovation, In the Hearth of Traditional Florence”
ASZ architetti was asked by the new landlord to follow the entire building restoration.
The former offices were converted into a fashion design university, with the addition of new commercial spaces on the ground level. The process included the obtainment of all the administrative permits, including the request for a new water well for the centralised mechanical plant.
We planned many interventions to the structure, including the construction of new vertical connections, to comply with the fire regulations and the seismic behaviour of the building requested by the new designation of use.
A dedicated architecture firm curated the interior design of the university.
